U.S. Launches New AI Action Plan
America Wants to Win the AI Race: President Trump released a new plan called "Winning the AI Race: America's AI Action Plan" to make sure America stays the best country at building AI technology. Think of it like a competition between countries to see who can build the smartest computer programs!
Massive Money Coming In: Companies are promising to invest huge amounts of money in AI. There's a $500 billion private investment plan called "Stargate", plus an additional $92 billion in AI and energy projects. That's like having $592 billion to build super-smart computers and the power plants to run them!
Building AI Super-Centers: The plan focuses on "promoting rapid buildout of data centers" by making it easier and faster to get permits to build these special computer buildings. These data centers are like giant libraries, but instead of books, they store all the information that makes AI work.
